As you know that renal diseases are increasing very rapidly due to diabetes, impurities in water and high blood pressure, it has become a great need to provide quality treatment facilities to deserving people within their reach. Patients with irreversible end-stage-kidney-failure need life-long dialysis and their lives can be saved if proper and timely treatement is provided. Unfortunately, most of such patients die just because the unavailability of proper treatment in suburban areas.
Keeping this scenario in consideration, the founder chairman of the trust Mr. Wahid Ali Rehmani decided to construct Fatima Kidney Care Hospital (FKCH) in Surjani Town, Karachi as the city's third dialysis hospital for the poor patients where where deserving and needy patients could get free treatments.
This project will be launched in three stages:
1) First of all, we are going to start Hemodialysis Centre for which we have 7000 sq. ft. readily available space in Surjani Town. Through this Hemodialysis Centre , we would cater the needs of 30 KM radius area covering an estimated population of 3 to 4 million people. (Started)
2) In the second stage, we would start O.P.D. Services along with the most advanced Pathological Laboratory services, Ultrasound, X-rays, etc.
3) In the final stage, the most modern and state-of-the-art 100 beds Fatima Kidney Care Hospital would start its full-fledged services to cater the patients not only from Karachi, but also from Sindh and Baluchistan. FKCH will be the third largest Kidney Hospital in Karachi.
Dialysis Room, R.O. Plant, Consultants room and all the facilities are available including the Dialysis Machines.
